Now in its seventh consecutive year, SECR 2012 is a professional forum for software developers from around the world and attracts hundreds of the most influential players from the global IT industry every year.

Kicking off this year’s event is a keynote address by Arkadiy Dobkin of EPAM Systems on Software Engineering as a Business – the past, present, and future. This is to be followed by a full day of discussions, roundtables, case studies, reports and courses by and for industry movers and shakers.

SECR 2012 has attracted some big names as partners and sponsors this year including RVC, EPAM, Intel, Microsoft, T-Systems, Luxoft and Deutsche Bank and others. It is also endorsed by the most of key local software/IT associations.

Conference Chair and President of First Line Software, Nick Puntikov, said of the event, “This year’s SECR is going to be very dynamic – more dynamic than ever, in fact. We have managed to fit the program into two days, while also offering participants the option to register for just a single day. As a result, there will be more people attending. It will be the biggest SECR event so far with over 250 companies participating. In addition to the main program, this year we have launched a new format, Open Space, which will integrate presentations and discussions in a free-form configuration. This will also add to the dynamic feeling of the conference.”

SECR 2012 runs until 6 p.m. on Nov. 2. Registration and more information is available from http://www.cee-secr.org.
