MIT Enterprise Forum Russia bannerThe MITEF Russia Startup BootCamp will take place at Digital October, a center for the globally minded technology entrepreneurship community in Moscow, from Dec. 9–11. The program for the three-day event includes lectures, panel discussions and an elevator pitch contest. A short summary used to quickly and simply define a product, service, or organization, the elevator pitch reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver a summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or between thirty seconds and two minutes. The winner of the contest will win a trip to the Global Innovator Competition in March 2012. The respected panel of experts includes Scott Bailey, director of MassChallenge, David Berry of Flagship Ventures and CEO of Essentient, Sergey Gribov of AB Systems and Minerva Capital, and Alexander Andreev of SoftJoys, among others.

The official program will include lectures and round table discussions on such topics as how to write a good business plan, presenting with impact (how to polish your elevator pitch), the dos and don’ts of marketing startups and, of course, the elevator challenge.

All lectures will be held in English and registration (in Russian only) is free. To register, visit www.mitef.ru.

Those wishing to present should send an executive summary in English to info@mitef.ru no later than Nov. 23.
