Fleming GulfFleming Gulf’s Information & Cyber Security Summit taking place on 6-7 October, 2015 in Moscow, Russian Federation will gather over 15 industry speakers and top government dignitaries and decision makers from various industries, to discuss the necessary measures needed to bolster information security in the Russian Federation.

Over the last few years, the digital revolution has changed the way businesses function with rapid advancements in areas of operations, communication and information storage. While these digital advancements have benefited almost every organization globally, an increase in the number of cyber crimes and security breaches has been on the rise with devastating impact. Last year alone, around 11,000 crimes were committed in Russia over the internet or via information technology according to the Russian Interior Ministry, who forecasts that the numbers will grow significantly this year. A recent report stated the Russian Security Council has announced plans for the creation of a new information security doctrine intended to prevent information warfare, identity-theft and cyber-fraud more efficiently. This new version of Russian IT security doctrine and the adoption of advanced proactive security strategies reflect the interests of the country in ensuring the security of it’s national information infrastructure.

The summit will showcase a range of keynote presentations, case studies, panel discussions, presentations, exhibitions and business networking opportunities that will delve into the nuances of information and cyber security in the Russian Federation.
